Amidst a grand gathering of Delhi’s crème de la crème, Birdhichand welcomed its guests into the Royal Pavilions that carried an old-world charm resembling the Delhi Durbar of the ancient times. The décor, majestic and larger than life, reminded one of the grandeur of the royal times. Guests in attendence included Murali Kartik, Anand Ahuja, Priya Ahuja, Pernia Qureshi, Sunaina Kwatra, Aastha Sharma, Monisha Bajaj, Anil Lepps, Peter and Cecile D’Ascoli, Nik Khanna, Sasha Grewal & Kaabia Grewal and The evening started with Rajasthani folk-Sufi musician – Kutle Khan who charmed the audience with his melodious voice and opened the fashion show with durbar music. The fashion show witnessed the regal gems of Royal India that celebrate the modern Indian bride referred to as the ‘Indian Modern Moghals’.

Bollywood’s fashion icon, Sonam Kapoor walked the ramp flaunting the exquisite jewels from the Delhi Durbar Collection. Styled by celebrity stylist, Tanya Ghavri, the fashion show witnessed models adorning intricately carved jewellery from Delhi Durbar collection by Birdhichand and pastel hued apparel by label - Jayanti Reddy.

The evening ended on an elaborate cocktails & sit-down dinner along with a pleasant performance by Sitaara Band.

The exclusive jewels from the Delhi Durbar collection will be available at the brand’s new store in Defence Colony, New Delhi.
