The annual awards function being organized at Kolkata for the first time by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) will be inaugurated by the Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Kamal Nath.
These awards instituted by the GJEPC honor outstanding achievements of the exporters, importers in the gems and jewellery sector.
Keeping to their tradition of recognizing the vision as well as steps initiated by the eximporters to carve their own niche in the global arena, this year the body is all set to organize its 33rd award function at Manikchand SEZ, Kolkata on September 7, 2006.
The one day gala function is expected to be attended approximately 500-600 big players of the industry from round the globe.
On this occasion, GJEPC would felicitate the perfectionists who starred in the face of challenges and came up triumphant. The ones who’ve shown the way by transcending all limitations and have emerged as global players creating their own identity in the international market, will receive the coveted awards.
