The 82nd Golden Globe Awards, held on January 5, 2025, kicked off this year’s awards season in spectacular fashion, with the Red Carpet shimmering in a mesmerizing array of diamond jewellery. Hollywood’s finest lit up the night in stunning pieces from renowned jewellers. With diamonds taking centre stage, the evening was a showcase of opulence, from bold statement necklaces, to breathtaking diamond earrings.

Zendaya’s 48ct Diamond Necklace by Bulgari

Zendaya stole the spotlight in a striking rust-orange gown, complemented by an exquisite array of jewellery. The centrepiece of her look was a necklace featuring 12 pear-shaped diamonds, 21 round diamonds, 72 step-cut diamonds, and a breathtaking 31-carat Paraíba tourmaline from Mozambique. The brilliance of the diamonds was undeniable, but it was the rare Paraíba tourmaline that truly stole the show.

Known for its vivid “Windex blue” colour, Paraíba tourmalines were first discovered in the late 1980s in the Brazilian state of Paraíba, quickly becoming coveted by designers. However, when the mines ran dry, the demand for these stunning stones led to their rarity. Fortunately, a slightly greener, but equally stunning, variety was discovered in Mozambique, where they continue to capture the attention of collectors and jewellery enthusiasts alike.

Selena Gomez dazzled in a vintage-inspired Tiffany & Co. diamond necklace from the 2024 Blue Book Collection, a true masterpiece in platinum. The necklace boasted over 18 carats of internally flawless white diamonds, including a detachable drop pendant featuring an 8ct pear-shaped diamond. The design seamlessly blended modern versatility with timeless elegance, showcasing a graduated line of marquise and round brilliant diamonds. This multi-functional heirloom also transformed into a cocktail ring, with the pendant set in a halo of micro-pave diamonds.

Her stunning look was further elevated by a breathtaking engagement ring, proudly displayed for all to see. The centrepiece featured an estimated 8-carat marquise-cut diamond set on a yellow gold pave band, symbolizing their enduring love. Completing the ensemble, Gomez wore platinum-set diamond studs, each featuring rare old European-cut diamonds weighing 3 carats.

Anya Taylor-Joy looked breathtaking in the Tiffany Céleste Star Burst Crystal Opal necklace from the 2024 Blue Book Collection, expertly crafted in platinum and 18kt gold. The necklace featured six magnificent oval crystal opals, with a combined weight of over 64 carats, accented by diamonds totalling more than 69 carats.

She completed her radiant look with the matching Star Burst bracelet, which showcased crystal opals totalling over 26 carats, and added a pair of dazzling diamond earrings to further enhance the ensemble. Each piece radiated timeless elegance, perfectly complementing her sophisticated style.

Zoë Kravitz’s Diamond Chandelier Earrings by Jessica McCormack

Zoë Kravitz turned heads with her show-stopping jewellery, making a bold statement with her stunning earrings. The actress, dressed in a sleek black-and-white Saint Laurent gown, wore a pair of breathtaking earrings from British jeweller Jessica McCormack. These modern, chandelier-inspired earrings featured 14 graduating pear-shaped diamonds, suspended in mid-air, creating a sense of weightlessness and drama. Set in McCormack's signature blackened gold, the earrings added a striking edge to Kravitz’s look, blending sophistication with an effortlessly cool vibe.

Kravitz, known for her understated, yet captivating, style, worked closely with McCormack to craft these earrings, which perfectly captured her signature aesthetic — dramatic, yet unpretentious. The pairing of 14 matching pear-shaped diamonds was a meticulous process, with McCormack’s team sourcing stones that matched in size and ratio. The handcrafted earrings took seven days to create, ready just in time for Kravitz’s Red Carpet appearance.

The hand-set diamonds were placed to enhance natural light dispersion, making the piece glow from every angle. Saldana paired this statement necklace with Cartier diamond drop earrings featuring rare pink diamonds set in platinum, totalling 8 carats, adding an extra layer of uniqueness to her ensemble.
