Vicenzaoro January 2026 concluded on January 20 in Vicenza, reaffirming its role as a key international business platform for the jewellery industry. Organised by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), the show recorded 60% foreign attendance, equalling last year’s record.

The United States led overseas visitors, followed by the United Kingdom, India and Germany. Buyers and exhibitors from 130 countries were present, reflecting sustained international engagement despite volatility in precious metal prices and ongoing trade uncertainty.

Through its partnership with the Italian Trade Agency, IEG welcomed more than 560 hosted international buyers, creating direct sourcing and business opportunities for participating companies.

Growth Across Established and Emerging Markets

Alongside the leading markets, Turkey, Spain, France, the UK and Germany showed continued expansion. Emerging regions including Serbia, Lithuania and Kazakhstan together recorded a 60% increase in participation.

Asia posted strong gains, led by India with 40% growth and China with a 20% rise. In Western Europe, France grew by 23% while the UK increased by 12%, indicating renewed momentum across mature markets.

Complete Jewellery Supply Chain Under One Roof

Vicenzaoro once again brought together the full industry ecosystem, spanning fine jewellery, gemstones, semi-finished products, components, packaging, visual merchandising and technology.

The T.Gold exhibition confirmed its status as a technology leader, with machinery suppliers focusing on automation, digital workflows and production optimisation to help manufacturers manage rising input costs.

VO Vintage and VO Awards Add New Dimensions

VO Vintage, the dedicated marketplace for pre-owned watches and vintage jewellery, attracted strong footfall, reflecting growing interest in the secondary luxury segment.

The debut of the VO Awards received strong industry response, celebrating craftsmanship, design excellence and innovation in materials and production techniques.

Industry Dialogue and City Engagement

According to Matteo Farsura, Head of IEG’s jewellery exhibitions, industry priorities have shifted toward efficiency. “Buyers found the entire supply chain, and companies found all the tools to compete on the markets,” he said, highlighting the focus on production optimisation.

Beyond the exhibition halls, ViOff brought the event into the city through networking events and cultural initiatives, opening with the “Golden Talk” attended by over 650 students exploring career opportunities in jewellery.

CIBJO, the World Jewellery Confederation, also played a prominent role ahead of its World Congress in Vicenza in September 2026.

The next edition of Vicenzaoro and T.Gold will be held from 4–8 September 2026, with VO Vintage from 4–7 September, in the renovated Vicenza Expo Centre.
