Titan Company reported growth in diamond-studded jewellery sales in the second quarter of FY27, with the category recording growth in the low 30s percentage range during the July–September quarter, according to the company’s October 6 business update.

Revenue from Titan’s jewellery division, which includes Tanishq, Mia and CaratLane, increased 21% year on year. The performance was supported by brand-level promotions and Tanishq’s Festival of Diamonds collection.

Demand remained healthy through most of the quarter, although sales momentum moderated towards the end as the festive calendar shifted some consumer purchases into the third quarter. Titan said plain-gold jewellery sales grew approximately 20% during the period.

The latest performance follows a strong first quarter for the company’s studded jewellery category, which includes diamonds. In the April–June quarter, the segment recorded growth in the mid-30s percentage range, reflecting improving consumer demand for diamond jewellery.

Titan’s consolidated sales, including those of its subsidiaries, rose 25% year on year in the second quarter. The company added 78 stores during the period, taking its total retail network to 3,758 stores as of September 30, 2026.

The growth in diamond-studded jewellery sales comes amid improving demand for the category in India’s organised jewellery market. Titan has previously reported greater stability in diamond pricing and demand for both natural and lab-grown diamonds, reflecting evolving consumer preferences.
