Tiffany & Co. has unveiled Bird on a Rock by Tiffany, a new jewellery collection that reinterprets Jean Schlumberger’s legendary Bird on a Rock design through the creative direction of Nathalie Verdeille, Chief Artistic Officer of Jewellery and High Jewellery.
The collection marks a milestone for the House, debuting new high jewellery suites alongside fine jewellery designs inspired by Schlumberger’s original motif. At its core is the wing—a graceful, sculptural symbol of optimism and freedom—brought to life in diamonds and precious metals.
Two standout high jewellery suites headline the launch. One celebrates tanzanite, a gemstone that Tiffany introduced to the world in 1968, through an exquisite necklace, bracelet and earrings. The second suite showcases turquoise, a gemstone embedded in the brand’s heritage and a favourite of Schlumberger, culminating in a dramatic necklace with a diamond bird clutching strands of cabochon turquoise. Complementary pieces, including a pendant, brooch and ring, extend the suite.
The fine jewellery offering evolves the Bird on a Rock motif into modern, textural creations. Figurative bird forms are joined by abstract interpretations in the Bird on a Rock by Tiffany Wings line, where diamond-set pieces mimic the layered beauty of feathers. Convertible designs, such as earrings that transform from drops to studs, highlight Tiffany’s craftsmanship and versatility.
Celebrating individuality, asymmetry and the boundless possibilities of love, the collection reflects Tiffany & Co.’s legacy of artistry while charting a bold, contemporary direction.
Bird on a Rock by Tiffany will be available worldwide from September 2 at select Tiffany & Co. stores.
