KIRA has received the Highest Employment on Company Rolls award at the 52nd India Gem & Jewellery Awards (IGJA), organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).

The award was presented at the ceremony held at the Bharat Diamond Bourse, Mumbai, on September 13, 2026. The recognition is based on the number of employees directly employed on a company’s rolls. KIRA has reported a direct workforce of more than 10,500 employees.

KIRA’s directors Shanay Parekh and Ashish Lakhani received the award on behalf of the company from Chief Guest Amit Shah, Union Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation.

The Highest Employment on Company Rolls is among the special recognition awards presented at the IGJA, which recognizes contributions across the Indian gem and jewellery sector.

The 52nd IGJA recognized companies and individuals across categories covering areas including employment, exports, taxation, turnover and other industry contributions.
