French jewellery maison FRED has unveiled Monsieur Fred Golden Light, the third and final chapter of its Monsieur Fred High Jewellery trilogy, coinciding with the brand's 90th anniversary. The collection pays tribute to founder Fred Samuel's lifelong fascination with light and colour while bringing together the maison's heritage, coloured gemstones and transformable jewellery design.

The collection comprises 15 one-of-a-kind High Jewellery creations organized into five thematic sets inspired by the changing light of the French Riviera. The designs trace a visual journey from the deep blue tones of dawn to the golden glow of sunrise, interpreted through gemstones including tanzanites, Australian opals, Colombian emeralds, Sri Lankan yellow sapphires and diamonds.

At the centre of the collection is the 101.57-carat Fancy Intense Yellow Soleil d'Or diamond, which has been mounted into jewellery for the first time. The historic stone, reacquired by the maison in 2021 for its heritage collection, forms the focal point of the Golden Light necklace, where it is set on a detachable brooch that allows the diamond to be worn independently. According to the maison, the piece combines historical significance with technical innovation through its transformable construction.

Several creations throughout the collection incorporate modular and transformable elements, a recurring design approach within FRED's High Jewellery offering. The collection also highlights the house's continued emphasis on coloured gemstones, with compositions featuring exceptional emeralds from Colombia's Muzo mine, tanzanites, opals and sapphires alongside diamonds.

Monsieur Fred Golden Light concludes a trilogy that began with Inner Light in 2022 and continued with Ideal Light in 2024. Introduced as part of the maison's 90th anniversary celebrations, the collection reflects FRED's ongoing focus on heritage storytelling, exceptional gemstones and technical craftsmanship within the High Jewellery segment.
