In a dazzling tribute to its centenary, Fendi has introduced a new high jewellery collection titled Eaux d’Artifice, drawing deeply from the brand’s Roman heritage and its enduring relationship with architecture, water, and light.
Inspired by the monumental fountains and underground aqueducts of Rome, the collection’s name—French for “artificial waters” or fireworks—echoes both celebration and artistry. The pieces interpret the movement and elegance of water through intricate craftsmanship and a monochromatic palette of exceptional gemstones.
The collection includes three signature parures, three cocktail rings, and a singular masterpiece: the Eaux d’Artifice centennial necklace. Crafted in Fendi’s high jewellery ateliers in Paris, the collection showcases a vibrant range of gems—Mozambique rubies, Colombian emeralds, spinels, topaz, garnets, and sapphires in shades of pink and yellow—each set to reflect the brand’s forward-looking vision anchored in its Italian legacy.
The centrepiece of the collection, the centennial necklace, features a rare 20.25-carat cushion-cut Fancy Vivid Flawless Yellow diamond. Set diagonally within a flowing, symmetrical composition, the stone evokes the movement of water bursting from a fountain, capturing both energy and elegance in its form.
Eaux d’Artifice underscores Fendi’s fusion of Roman inspiration with Parisian haute joaillerie, establishing a new chapter in the house’s century-long story.
