Diamond Constellation has entered into a partnership with the Lucknow Blazers, a franchise of the Tennis Premier League (TPL), as part of an initiative to strengthen its consumer engagement in Lucknow.
The association brings together the diamond jewellery brand and the sports franchise, using tennis as a platform to connect with consumers in the city. The partnership forms part of Diamond Constellation’s efforts to build visibility for its jewellery offering through consumer-facing associations.
The Lucknow Blazers are owned by entrepreneur Dharmender Goel and actor and sports enthusiast Sonali Bendre. The franchise is among the eight teams participating in the Tennis Premier League.
The TPL has completed seven seasons and operates under the aegis of the All India Tennis Association. The league has also expanded its focus on grassroots tennis through tournaments, scholarships and player development programmes.
The partnership gives Diamond Constellation a platform to engage with consumers through a sport that has been gaining visibility through the TPL’s franchise-led format. The Lucknow Blazers also have a local consumer connection through their association with Lucknow and the franchise’s wider outreach.
The development comes as jewellery companies increasingly explore sports partnerships and entertainment-led platforms to reach consumers beyond conventional retail and advertising channels. Similar category initiatives have included natural diamond campaigns linked with major sports broadcasts and certification partnerships with professional sports teams.
For the diamond jewellery sector, such partnerships offer brands an additional route to engage younger and urban audiences while building awareness around diamond jewellery through lifestyle and sporting platforms.
