The collection, whose name translates to “In Balance,” celebrates harmony through colour, form, and rhythm across a dazzling display of 115 precious creations.
Unfolding within the historic Nacka Strandmässen—an 1899 industrial space turned cultural venue—the exhibition was divided into three immersive themes: Harmony Through Colour, Volume, and Rhythm. Each space featured signature pieces that pushed the boundaries of contemporary high jewellery design while maintaining Cartier’s timeless elegance.
Among the standout pieces was the Pavocelle necklace, crowned with a striking 58.08-carat Ceylon sapphire, whose peacock-feather-inspired design and transformable structure exemplify the collection’s fusion of tradition and modernity. Another highlight, the Panthère Dentelée necklace, blended meticulous craftsmanship with bold sculptural elements, incorporating 274.58 carats of emerald beads and a lace-like panther form—realised through 1,678 hours of artisanal work.
Cartier also brought its jewellery to life through living displays. Models adorned with En Équilibre creations posed in whimsical outdoor vignettes during a gala evening at the Artipelag museum, where nature and art merged seamlessly. Guests, including ambassadors Deepika Padukone and Anna Sawai, as well as actors Zoe Saldaña and Alexander Skarsgård, added star power to the occasion.
Padukone wore the Pavocelle necklace at the event, while Sawai stunned in the architectural Arcata set, featuring rubellites and geometric motifs. The evening concluded with a high-energy performance by Canadian rock band The Beaches, who paired Cartier jewels with bold fashion, reinforcing the collection’s versatility and modern appeal.
With En Équilibre, Cartier continues its exploration of artistic equilibrium—blending rich gemstones, avant-garde design, and centuries-old techniques to reflect a world in balance, both visually and philosophically.
