Bvlgari has unveiled Polychroma, a breathtaking new high-jewellery collection that merges the art of fine gemstones with Swiss watchmaking craftsmanship. Debuted in a lavish presentation at the ancient Greek theatre in Taormina, Sicily, the collection features over 600 exceptional creations—250 of which are brand new—marking one of the brand’s most ambitious showcases to date.

Among the highlights are five standout timepieces that encapsulate Bvlgari’s heritage of bold design and mechanical innovation. Four of them are powered by the maison’s groundbreaking Piccolissimo movement, the smallest mechanical calibre in the world, weighing just 1.3 grams and measuring 12mm in diameter.

Each watch in the Polychroma collection is a wearable work of art:

  • Nuvole Preziose: A pendant watch centred on a 6.88-carat yellow sapphire, requiring over 1,500 hours of meticulous handcrafting.

  • Notte Stellata: Inspired by Rome’s starlit skies, this piece features animated fireflies on tremblers dancing across a celestial dial.

  • Gioco di Forme e Colori: A kinetic showpiece built around a 12.34-carat tanzanite, surrounded by a dynamic mosaic of multicoloured gems.

  • Tubogas e Colori: A fresh take on the Tubogas bracelet, crafted in rose gold and topped with a striking 6.65-carat amethyst.

  • Serpenti Aeterna: A reinvention of Bvlgari’s signature serpent motif, available in diamond-and-sapphire or diamond-and-emerald iterations, each set within a sculptural bangle.

Notably, the collection includes 60 "millionaire" pieces—high-jewellery creations of extraordinary value—marking a record for the Roman luxury house.

The exclusive Taormina launch was attended by a host of global celebrities, including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Lisa Manobal, and Viola Davis, who experienced a multi-sensory evening of performances and private showings at the historic San Domenico Palace.

With Polychroma, Bvlgari once again asserts its place at the intersection of artistry, heritage, and technical excellence.
