Titan plans international shipping service

Titan Company, an arm of the Tata group, is launching an international shipping service to address its clientele especially non-resident Indians (NRIs), People of Indian Origin (PIOs), for a select range of jewellery products, reports say. Titan presently retails a varied product portfolio on its portal - 'titan.Co.In', including jewellery, timepieces, eyewear, backpacks, bags, perfumes, wallets and belts, reports add.

Its new shopping service will currently address markets in US, UK, Singapore, Australia and UAE and the company intends to expand to other countries in the future. It will address the needs of its clients keen on purchasing its jewellery products, particularly during the upcoming festive season, reports say.

Titan has teamed up with PayPal for payments and United Parcel Service (UPS) for logistical aspects, reports say.
