Fyodor Andreev resigns from the post of ALROSA president

Fyodor Andreev decided to resign from the post of ALROSA president for medical reasons. His decision was announced at the weekly management meeting held on 22 September.

Though Fyodor Andreev is stepping down from the operative management of the company, he will continue to take part in ALROSA governance as a member of the Supervisory Board. On July 15, 2009, Fyodor Andreev was appointed President (CEO) of ALROSA.

Now, first vice-president Ilya Ryashchin will take over as acting president of ALROSA.
