India's first gold jewellery show to be launched

World Gold Council, Tanishq and Rand Refinery to take initiative

Managing Director of the Indian Subcontinent World Gold Council, Ajay Mitra mentioned, that �This year's theme, 'Trendsetting Gold,' encourages new talent to highlight design and manufacturing excellence that sustains and develops jewellery markets across India through design innovation. The World Gold Council believes that the promotion of such innovative products and designs will further fuel consumer growth for the entire gold jewelry category."

The grand prize for the competition is 500 grams of gold, while the second prize is of 250 grams of gold and third prize is 100 grams of gold. The competition will select 17 short-listed finalists who will be rewarded with 20 gram gold coins.

India�s first gold jewellery competition �AUDITIONS� is going to be launched on a grand scale by three entities - World Gold Council, Tanishq and Rand Refinery. AuDITIONS is also to tour Brazil, South Africa, China and the Middle East as a grand gold jewellery design competition.
