DDE honours Chaim Even-Zohar with Honorary DDE Membership

Chaim Even-Zohar, a leading personality of the global gem and jewellery industry, was honoured with an Honorary DDE Membership, by the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE), at the Almas Tower in the presence of DDE Board Members and DMCC officials. He was recognised for his outstanding contributions to the diamond industry.

Peter Meeus, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DDE said, “As the DDE raises its profile on the international stage, we aim to recognise the contribution made to the development of the industry by influential participants. Chaim Even-Zohar is a diamond veteran who has changed the face of the industry through his unique form of investigative journalism and continues to take strong stances in supporting better practices.”

The DDE, a DMCC platform, was established in 2004 and is a member of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses and a keen supporter of the WFDB in all its initiatives. It fully complies with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme.
