Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) is preparing to host another edition of its International Diamond Week, in September, this year and expects to repeat the success of its past editions and attract a large gathering of diamantaires and diamond buyers.

This summer edition is slated from September 1-4, 2014. The International Diamond Week event has gathered interest since its inception two years ago, as a potential platform for diamond dealers to trade and interact, as per IDE President Shmuel Schnitzer, reports say. This edition over a $1 billion worth of diamonds are expected to be on the trade floor and the members of the Antwerp Diamond Bourse will be participating for the first time, reports say.
