Popley & Sons launched a collection of jewellery imbibing the inspiration of Ottomen jewellery, a Turkish jewellery design appeal.

The Turkish heritage extends to 3000 B.C, when the first gold was minted. Design has been key to Turkish jewellery, lending to the variety seen in the intricately design ornaments. Ottoman jewellery was ornate and extremely colourful, with a variety of stones arranged in bizarre patterns and usage of metals. Strict symmetry and balance is another signature of Ottomen-influenced designs, often mirroring the natural geometry of gemstone use.

The Turkish inspired jewellery at Popley is ornate and extremely colorful with the array of stones arranged in diverse patterns, and has a variety of metals used in each piece. Popley’s Ottomen-influenced designs are exceptionally carved and every piece of jewellery has its own enigma.
