Swatch prepares to take on Apple for trademark issues

diamond world news service

Watch company Swatch is ready to legally challenge and fight any brand registration of the term iWatch. It believes such a name is too familiar with its already registered trademark iSwatch, which was registered some years ago, reports suggest.

According to Swatch it is considering this move as it is natural for a company to register and also protect its registered brand, reports say. Also, Apple is considering to enter the watch segment and has claimed the brand name iWatch in many nations, reports add.
