Rio Tinto Diamonds’ Nazraana to retailers

Rio Tinto Diamonds hosted ‘Nazraana™ Seasons Awards Night 2014’ at the Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon to honour the outstanding performance of its retailers. The event meant to encourage and reward top Nazraana™ retailers across 8 Indian cities including Delhi, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Lucknow, Kanpur, Jaipur, Kolkata and Guwahati.

Yaami Gautam – Bollywood star and Nazraana Brand Ambassador presented the awards for the various categories, including Best Showroom of the Season, Best Display of the Season, Best Salesperson of the week and Super Salesperson of the Season. Around 150 retailers and sales associates attended the event.

Reflecting on the awards show, Vikram Merchant, Manager of Rio Tinto Diamonds’ Indian Representative Office said, “Results from the Nazraana™ campaign demonstrate that strong consumer interest is readily converted into sales through the enthusiastic efforts of a motivated sales force. Such activities are necessary to promote our products in an increasingly competitive marketplace.”

Nazraana is the marketing initiative of Rio Tinto Diamonds India. It takes its reference from the royal gift giving rituals of past eras and offers diamond jewellery gifts as tokens of love to family and friends. The collections offers affordable diamond jewellery ranging from rings, necklaces, pendants, earrings to bracelets.
