Less than a week after an unprecedented multi-million dollar heist on a Graff store in Dubai, another jewelry shop in the United Arab Emirates was hit by thieves over the weekend.

As per reports thieves raided the Al Insaf jewelry shop at Madinat Zayed in Abu Dhabi early Saturday, April 21, 2007, forcing open the shutters, after which they broke a window and cleared out items in the window display.

Jewelry worth approximately $272,000 was taken in the raid, according to reports. A week earlier, a gang of thieves took off with more than $13 million worth of goods from a Graff store at the Wafi City mall in Dubai. Dubai authorities determined the gunmen who carried out the Graff theft are linked to some 130 similar robberies in Europe.
No arrests in either case have yet been made.
