In December 2013, Forevermark the diamond brand from the De Beers group of companies hosted its authorised select jewellery retail partners in India in Antwerp and Milan, as a mark of strengthening its existing bond with the retailers and celebrating the journey so far. Forevermark has completed three years in the Indian market and currently partners with 120 leading authorized jewellers across 18 cities.

Sachin Jain, President, Forevermark India commented “As we embark on a new year, we thought this would be a great time to celebrate our accomplishment together with our honoured partners in India; The Forevermark jewellers. This trip was a follow up to the trip organised by Forevermark last year to showcase the journey of a Forevermark diamond to our friends. This year we continued the experience where the story of a diamond was further narrated.”

Following the last years visit to London and Scotland and to South Africa a year before, this year, the retailers were gained first hand experience on Forevermark diamonds- the stringent processes involved in inscribing and grading a Forevermark diamond, meeting the world’s leading diamantaires and the design team. Also a visit to Forevermark Diamond institute (FDI) in Antwerp was organised where retailers witnessed the processes involved in inscribing and grading a Forevermark diamond. In Amsterdam, the journey continued with a visit to the FDI (internationally renowned centre of diamond excellence) to understand efforts taken by FDI in the identification of synthetics, using its proprietary technology.

Mr Stephen Lussier, CEO Forevermark hosted a cocktail evening along with world’s leading diamantaires from Antwerp and interacted with the partners. In Milan, the team met Costantino, Head of Forevermark Design and Innovation Centre, who shared his insights on design trends and how to leverage these trends for business. An exclusive VIP evening was planned at the Todd’s Flagship Store. Master craftsmen showcased their intricate work. A tour to the Pinacoteca Di Brera & Fornasetti at the Triennale concluded the journey.
