The Aurora Butterfly of Peace, a creation of 240 natural fancy-coloured diamonds of a total of 167 carats, arranged to represent the butterfly, will feature at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, reports say. It will on display from December 4, 2013 until June 3 2013. Alan Bronstein, the owner and curator worked on the piece over 12 years, in partnership with Harry Rodman.

This masterpiece reflects rainbow colours through the diamonds sourced from across the globe - purples from Russia, blues and oranges from South Africa, lime greens from Brazil, violets and dozens of pinks from the Argyle Mine in Australia. This creation was conceived by the artist as an eternal icon of love, beauty, energy, nature, and peace. It symbolizes a spiritual connection to Earth for all mankind.
