Diamond boots to be unveiled at Business of Design Week

Altogether 38,883 diamonds of 1,527 carats in total and 4,753 grams of gold has been used to create a pair of diamond boots which will feature at the Business of Design Week in Hong Kong - a platform which this year has a special focus on Belgium and its creative industries. The boots have been designed and manufactured by Antwerp fashion designers AF Vandevorst, leading Antwerp based diamond trading and manufacturing company Diarough-UNI Design, in a project supported by Flanders Investment and Trade, Flanders Fashion Institute and the Antwerp World Diamond Centre.

The boots represent efforts to promote the creative spirit of Antwerp and are valued at $3,188,000.
