Hari Krishna Exports’ directors donate Rs 15 Crore towards hospital project

Underlining commitment towards social endeavours, shareholders of Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. have pledged Rs 15 Crore for a Hospital project in Surat, Gujarat, with Savjibhai Dholakiya, the chairman of the company taking on the highest contribution towards this endeavour. At the ground breaking ceremony conducted at the hands of honourable Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Shri Savjibhai said he was indeed happy to participate in the project that will bring much needed help to the people of Gujarat.

The facility is named ‘Kiran Hospital’ and is planned in the Katargam area of Surat, with 13-storeyes and facilities like a helipad and an air ambulance and a health insurance scheme. The hospital is conceived to support people of all communities.

Of the estimated cost of Rs. 500 crore, Rs. 300 crore have been collected so far. This could be the biggest hospital of its kind and is expected to be inaugurated within two years.
