Paola Strammiello wins 1st prize at HRD awards

HRD Antwerp announced the names of the winners of the HRD Awards contemporary diamond jewellery contest at a gala event in Beijing. For the second time, the HRD Awards ceremony was held in China. The HRD Awards is the world’s leading contest for contemporary diamond jewellery and is considered as the “Oscar Awards” of the diamond jewellery design industry which is attented by many political VIPs and celebrities.

Italian designer Paola Strammiello was given the highest honour for winning the first prize. Strammiello works as a senior jewelry designer and consultant for Forevermark De Beers Group in Milan. The other four finalists were Wan Hei Tung from Hong Kong, Evi Bakker from The Netherlands, Ma Chao from China and Shen Feng from China.
