Christie’s puts diamond tiara up for sale

Tiaras and jewellery set with polished diamonds, precious gemstones and pearls will be among the items up for sale at Christie’s Important Jewels auction in London on November 27.

There will be a selection of tiaras from the mid-Victorian era up to the 20th century, including a mid-19th century diamond tiara which can also be worn as a necklace which was priced to sell between $289,000 and $402,000. The sale will feature a selection of 17 pearl necklaces including an important six-row natural pearl necklace with a presale estimate of $482,000 to $643,000. The sale will also showcase jewellery made by Van Cleef & Arpels , Graff Diamonds, Cartier and Bulgari.
