TanzaniteOne has included Chinese retailer Chow Tai Seng as its sightholder, reports say. The Chinese retailer has become the eight sightholder of TanzaniteOne and will sell polished tanzanite stones through its 2,200 jewelry stores in the People’s Republic of China, reports add.

Chow Tai Seng is TanzaniteOne’s first Chinese sightholder, and also its first “polished” sightholder, in which it will receive cut and polished tanzanite, and not rough gems, reports suggest. TanzaniteOne looks upon this agreement with Chow Tai Seng will help build a strong supply channel for China’s colored gemstone market and a strong foothold with a big retailer in the Chinese market, reports say.
