DDC meets with NYPD Chief

During the meeting held between the Diamond Dealers Club (DDC) of New York's executive committee, led by DDC's president, Reuven Kaufman, and New York Police Chief, Philip Banks III, Kaufman expressed gratitude to Banks for the cooperation extended by NYPD towards the diamond industry. Banks is the highest ranking uniformed officer in the Police Department.

Banks discussed the efforts at present taken by NYPD in addressing crime and also admired the roles of local communities in combating crime. He also touched upon topics of education, gun-control and the rise in Internet fraud.

Kaufman announced that DDC has bestowed on Banks an honorary membership in the Diamond Dealers Club.
