8.17-Carat D-Flawless Diamond to Lead Christie’s New York Jewels Online Sale

An 8.17-carat round brilliant-cut D-colour, internally flawless diamond ring is set to headline Christie’s Jewels Online auction in New York, with an estimate of USD 250,000 to USD 350,000.

Christie’s will offer more than 260 lots in its Jewels Online sale, with bidding open from October 6 to 15. The auction will be led by the 8.17-carat diamond ring, which is being offered without reserve. The jewellery will be on view at Christie’s Rockefeller Center galleries from October 8 to 12.

The sale includes jewellery from established houses including Bulgari, Cartier, Harry Winston, Tiffany & Co. and Van Cleef & Arpels, alongside a selection of important diamonds and coloured gemstones.

Among the other notable lots is a Graff ring featuring a 7.85-carat square emerald-cut D-colour, VS1-clarity Type IIa diamond, estimated at USD 180,000 to USD 280,000. A Van Cleef & Arpels ring featuring a 5.22-carat emerald-cut D-colour, VVS2 diamond carries an estimate of USD150,000 to USD 250,000.

A rivière necklace comprising 67 pear brilliant-cut diamonds, ranging from 0.50 to 2.47 carats and graded D colour and internally flawless to VVS1 clarity, is also estimated at USD150,000 to USD 250,000.

Other diamond highlights include a 6.52-carat heart brilliant-cut D-colour, VVS1, Type IIa diamond ring, estimated at USD150,000 to USD 250,000, and a 5.34-carat pear brilliant-cut D-colour, internally flawless, Type IIa diamond offered without a setting, with an estimate of USD120,000 to USD180,000.

The auction also features more than 30 Bulgari jewels, along with signed pieces from David Webb and jewellery from the collection of mineralogist and gem expert Dr. Joel Arem.
