Revenues at Blue Nile up 18.7%

At the close of the second quarter ending June 30, 2013, Blue Nile Inc. recorded a rise in revenues, that by 18.7 percent ( on y-o-y basis) to $108 million, while profits were up 39.8 percent to $2.2 million, reports add. Sales in the international markets were up 19.1 percent to $17.1 million; while in the U.S., engagement sales went up 22 percent to $63.9 million and non-engagement sales were up 11.3 percent to $27 million.

At the close of the said quarter the company’s cost of sales also rose, 19.1 percent to $87.9 million.

The company noted that this is the fifth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth, reports add.
