Fusion Alternatives diamond tender achieves US$5.8 million

Fusion Alternatives’ rough diamond tender offering diamonds from Namakwa Diamonds' Kao diamond mine in Lesotho sold all lots on offer, reports say. It generated US$5.8 million in total with an overall average price per carat of US$495 reports say.

The tender was held in Antwerp between July 11-17 in association with I. Hennig.

Of the lost on offer, the top lots sold include two large gem-quality diamonds of 54.96 carats (bought for US$1.018 million) and 39.79 carats (bought for US$1.105 million), reports say.
