Union Diamond Corporation, an internet-based diamond and jewellery retailer, said it sold a three-stone diamond pendant for $250,000, bypassing its previous highest sale by $50,000. The pendant featured three D-colour, internally flawless, ideal round brilliant-cut diamonds of one, two and three carats, respectively.

Scott Anderson, the President and Chief Executive officer of Union Diamond affirms that according to their previous research, on-line sale of diamonds is doing really good. “While purchases in the six figures have become commonplace, larger purchases at the quarter million dollar mark illustrate the continuing trust that our clients place in us,” he added.
