Cartier has been approached by the production company of BBC’s drama Burton and Taylor, to provide jewellery for the same, reports say. The drama is narrates their private and public relationship enacted against their appearance in a 1983 revival of Noel Coward’s stage play, Private Lives, reports suggest. Cartier was asked to find a bracelet depicting Taylor’s style in jewellery and that which reflected the style of the period. Accordingly Cartier has selected a pink gold Love bracelet encrusted with four diamonds, worn by Helena Bonham Carter in the film. Elizabeth Taylor has been a long customer with Cartier, with some striking purchases including the Cartier-Burton-Taylor diamond.
