Eurostar celebrates 10 years of association with Chinese market

Launches Eurostar Tribute as a mark of this milestone

Eurostar, a diamond manufacturing company established in Antwerp, Belgium in 1978, has introduced a diamond called the Eurostar Tribute diamond in mark of completing 10 years of relation with the Chinese market, Eurostar is the world’s largest diamond manufacturer by value traded. As the company’s chairman, Kaushik K. Mehta explains: “We owe a large part of our success to the country and people of China. Our experience in China has been truly remarkable. We have witnessed first-hand an economic miracle and have grown alongside it.”

The Eurostar Tribute is characterized as being of 18.88 carats - a reference to the lucky Chinese number 888, symbolising a bright and prosperous future; it has IF grading reflecting the flawless relationship between Eurostar and China. The diamond is also inscribed by Forevermark stressing the long-term reliability of the partnership. The diamond will be exhibited to the public for the very first time at the Shanghai International Jewelry Fair, 10 - 13 May.
