Deadline of entries for HRD Awards extended by a month

The deadline to receive entries for the15th edition of the HRD Awards has been extended by a month until January 15, 2013. HRD Anwterp has declared the theme of the design competition as ''Trompe l’oeil,'' nothing is what it seems. Through this theme it is asking designers to explore the world of illusion that challenges perceptions of reality and image in creating diamond jewelry pieces.

The winning collection of the competition will be showcased across the globe in 2013 and 2014 across international jewelry fairs, events and in jewelry galleries. The top prize is set at $10,000, while the four finalists will receive $2,500 each. HRD will host the grand finale and award ceremony at the end of 2013.
