The state-controlled Bank of India will open a branch in the heart of Antwerp�s diamond district today. It will be inaugurated by India�s Ambassador to the European Union, Dipak Chatterjee.

Two other Indian banks with a presence in Antwerp include ICICI, which opened its branch in May 2006, and the State Bank of India.

Bank of India has 22 other branches in places such as the US, UK, Hong Kong, Japan, China, Cayman Islands and Zambia.
