Sales at Charles & Colvard rise 76% in Q3

For the three months ending September 30, 2012, Charles & Colvard recorded an increase in its sales on y-o-y basis, which rose 76 percent to $5.08 million, reports say. The company’s loose moissanite segment sales rose 71 percent to $3.8 million, while its finished jewelry segment sales rose 90 percent to around $1.3 million, as reports suggest.

The said third quarter also recorded 63 percent increase in the company’s costs and expenses to $3.05 million. Net income stood at $123,625, rising 13 percent, while the company held $11.9 million in cash and investments and no long-term debt, reports say.
