International Diamond Manufacturers Association (IDMA) has launched a Facebook page to give updates of its 35th World Diamond Congress. The IDMA communications team will be active in posting discussions, presentations and visuals, live, while the Congress is in progress, on both the facebook page and the IDMA website.

IDMA communications director Ya'akov Almor noted that the Facebook page would be used to update the global diamond business community and trade media, as much as possible in 'real time.' "In this digital era, we felt that a Facebook page would be an apt tool to broadcast the events of the 35th World Diamond Congress. We invite the members of the international trade press and the diamond business community to keep an eye on the IDMA Facebook page, as well as on the IDMA website. Of course, we need your 'likes,' comments and 'shares' to make the IDMA FB page widely known," Almor said.

The IDMA Facebook page can be found at :http://www.facebook.com/InternationalDiamondManufacturersAssociation. The dedicated congress website can be accessed at www.diamondcongress2012.com.

The Congress is approaching in less than a week.
