Lonrho Mining, a mining company headquartered in Australia, has discovered a 131.5-carat white rough diamond at its Lulo concession in Angola. The Lulo concession is a joint venture between Lonrho and Angola's government-owned diamond company, Endiama, reports say.

The white diamond is described as ‘gem quality’ although the company has not defined its colour and clarity. The company has described the stone as its largest find so far. The stone was discovered from a bulk sample, within which was also discovered a 38.3 carat rough diamond.
