Shree Ganesh’s net profits jump high in Q4

Shree Ganesh Jewellery House recorded a high increase in net profits at the close of the three months ending March 31, 2012.

The said three months delivered consolidated net profits worth $34.7 million, which showed a rise of more than three times over the same period last year. Also, group sales increased 65 percent (on y-o-y basis) to $376.4 million. Group expenses rose 57 percent (on y-o-y basis) to $335 million.

The company is a manufacturer of jewellery, with a portfolio in gold jewellery, diamond jewellery, gemstone-studded jewellery and light-weight Italian jewellery. It has a retail presence through its jewellery outlets under the name GAJA. .The company is headquartered in Kolkata, India.
