Gemological Science International (GSI) recently set up an office in Mumbai’s Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB), which is also the largest diamond bourse in the world. The lab is the first diamond grading laboratory to occupy space in the BDB.

“The BDB complex is nothing short of a fortress,” said Mrs. Neeta Shah, GSI’s VP Indian Operations. “It has changed the way the diamond industry functions. Our new lab will make diamond grading and other lab services more convenient for people both inside and outside BDB and reflects our tradition of providing quality, highly automated services to clients at a secure location most suitable to them.”

The new GSI lab in BDB is in addition to GSI’s main Indian office in Andheri. “We do everything possible to deliver the best customer service, which includes helping our customers save time and money while receiving the best possible gemological services from a world-class laboratory,” added Mrs. Neeta Shah.

The BDB is a 20-acre complex housing approximately 2,400 offices comprising a constructed area of two million square feet catering to diamond manufacturers, traders and retailers.
