Botswana’s diamond exports dip 19% in March

The first quarter diamond exports drop by 27%

In March 2012, Botswana saw its diamond exports take a plunge by 19 percent to $411.3 million, reports say. Also, as per reports, the Bank of Botswana noted that the first quarter recorded a fall in the country’s diamond exports by 27 percent to $826.8 million.

The bank’s data represents the country's full diamond trade and is derived from the Diamond Trading Company Botswana, Leo Schachter Botswana, ‎Teemane ‎Manufacturing Co., and the Central Statistics Office.‎
