Botswana’s diamond exports up 25% in February

In February 2012, Botswana noted a surge and a ‘decent surge’ in its diamond exports. The said exports rose 25 percent (y-o-y) to $306.5 million, as reported by the Bank of Botswana. The bank’s data is a representative sample of the country's full diamond trade.

The Bank of Botswana uses data sourced from DTC Botswana, Teemane Manufacturing Co, Leo Schachter Botswana and Statistics Botswana.
