Gujarat’s jewellers from Gujarat Jewellery Association

The Association will represent the G&J trade in the state

In a move to leverage the gem and jewellery trade in the Indian state of Gujarat, jewellers of the state have formed a common representative apex body under the proposed name of Gujarat Jewellery Association (GJA). The GJA will include all city and district level jewellery associations.

As a representative body, the GJA will be a common platform to address trade issues, present them to the government and non-government bodies, promote the state’s gem and jewellery trade to be competitive with global standards. It will also support the trade through platforms like exhibitions, shows, seminars.

The complete formation of the GJA yet awaits the completion of some formalities.
