diamond world news service

GemewizardŽ, the world leader in the development of color communication systems for the fancy colored diamond, colored gemstone and jewelry industries has enhanced its GemePrice™ online wholesale pricing system with new features. The new version now allocates prices to fancy colored diamonds as well as to gemstones according to the Color Codes generated by GemewizardŽ.

GemewizardŽ founder Menahem Sevdermish stated that “This unique pricing system is the only system in the international diamond and gemstone market to display the exact color combination along with the price and relevant gem parameters." Sevdermish said that the GemePrice™ database contains grades, qualities, commercial names and prices of more than 350 fancy colored diamonds color combinations and over 50 types of the most traded gemstones with a visual display of over 15 shapes”. As such the price of a specific diamond can be found either by defining any of the diamond's parameters: color grade, shape, clarity and cut, or by browsing through the pricelist. "The prices listed by GemePrice™ are generated and authenticated through the analysis of tens of thousands of fancy colored diamonds being offered for sale at any particular time on the Internet, as well as by means of prices allocated by a panel of industry-renowned experts; and finally on real-time commercial data," Sevdermish explained.

To develop the GemePrice™ for fancy colored diamonds, the company has imbibed a full decade of development and refinement of its color communication software products. For the company, launching its new GemePrice™ “was an important milestone among the GemewizardŽ enterprise achievements” noted Sevdermish. The launch is slated at the Israel Diamond Exchange on November 15th, 2011.
