To keep the greatness of their town Palanpur alive Messrs. Gembel N.V., Jayam N.V, Kantilal Chhotalal, Mahendra Bros and Rosy Blue- the leading diamond traders of India have initiated and produced a 46 minutes film on their home town. The film is on Palampur- its history, the Jain community and their roots in the diamond business. This small city bordering Rajasthan in north Gujarat has nurtured many people who have taken the diamond business to new heights.

The film explores a splendid canvas of human endeavor, enterprise, brotherhood, and spirit. The producers view the film as a gift to the younger generation. Sunil Shanbag of chrysalis films has directed the documentary.
