AN 18-carat diamond and gold studded phone, a Bentley, and a private jet these are some of the products on sale at a new fair for the very rich in Cannes. The Millionaire Fair opened on the chic French Riviera for three days of glamour last weekend. A select group of affluent people were invited to the opening night, as others had to pay hundreds of dollars to enter the fair.

According to a representative of the fair, �people with fat wallets� ogled newly launched exclusive products touted as a leading lifestyle fair and luxury shopping paradise.

First launched in 2002 in Amsterdam, the event has been held in Belgium, Shanghai and Moscow Cannes. The next one will be in Dubai and plans are on about organising one in India.
