Fabergé has launched a collection of ‘exclusive’ Egg Pendants, which is also the first of its kind that carries the authentic Fabergé name since 1917. This collection is special for it is a tribute to the ‘Imperial Eggs’ renowned for their creation by Peter Carl Fabergé for the Romanov family, reports say. In its creative vein, it celebrates the symbolism of the egg as a timeless universal symbol of life, reports suggest.

The company has entitled its new collection as ‘Les Fameux de Fabergé’ and offers 12 unique pendants, each created for one month of the year.

Some of the creations from the collection include: The Diaghilev Egg, The Ribbon Egg, The Cherry Egg, The Train des Fleurs Egg, The Chimère Egg, The High Tech Egg, The Mosaic Egg, The Diamond Egg, and The Snake Egg, each crafted with the inspiration of a proverb.

Each of the 12 pendants will retail from $100,000 to $600,000 and will be exhibited at the Fabergé boutique in Geneva from July 18 till August 21.
