diamond world news service

Having completed the necessary formalities for a second listing on the Botswana Stock Exchange's Venture Capital Board (VCB), diamond mining and exploration company Firestone Diamonds was expected to begin trading its shares on the VCB, beginning yesterday 13 June 2011.

The company is the sole entity selling diamonds by tender in Botswana, both from the BK11 Mine in Botswana and the Liqhobong Mine in Lesotho, at present. It looks at this opportunity as one to share its growth prospects with investors in Botswana.

The company has its operations focused on operations on Lesotho and Botswana. Besides the VCB is it also listed on the London's Alternative Investment Market.
